The artisans of Architectural Salvage New York are historic building contractors whose passion and respect for period structures has led them to specialize in the dismantling of antique buildings to recycle their valuable pieces. They have assembled an extensive 19th and late 18th century inventory of complete and partially salvaged historic pieces such as, doors, windows, tiles, wrought iron and glass pieces. These materials simply cannot be duplicated in new construction. As building artisans, they are qualified to consult on specific uses for period materials and are available for specific installation projects.

Ours worked here on restoring all the wrought iron balconies on the house, doing the sand blaster, creating the missing pieces and painting them at the final color selected.

You should see the reproduction work on this door, it was amazing. Amighini passed us this customer to reproduce this door, the problem was that the door was installed in Paris...we traveled and did it !!!

On this project we were on charge to restore all the masonry moldings and carvings. It wasn't easy because there wasn't original pieces to copy from scratch. We created them.

Small Job description...
The work on this one family house was to recreate the wooden flooring on two rooms, including the wooden paneling made in mahogany and walnut. Great job and it was great people to deal with.

This was one of my favorites work because the owner wanted to change all windows and doors. It was a shame because their were exquisite. Finally I convinced them to restore them and keep them, It looked great.

Once again the capitalism destroyed the old architecture. on the ground floor there was the two living rooms of this house and they converted them in a store. The new owner want it back again, and we made the windows and doors as the ones in the other floors.
